Gertrude B. Elion | Organic Cotton T-Shirt With Original Design
Gertrude B. Elion was turned away from chemistry labs in the 1940s because she was a woman. She later won the Nobel Prize for developing the drugs that treat leukaemia, herpes, lupus, and the rejection of transplanted kidneys. She never finished her PhD - she was too busy doing the research.
Organic t-shirt printed with an original painting of Gertrude B. Elion from Anya Vero’s Women Groundbreakers collection.
